Montana PBS Reports: IMPACT is a monthly news and public affairs series that covers issues of importance to Montanans. Our team of correspondents travels across the state to speak with affected individuals and relevant stakeholders, with the goal of providing in-depth reporting and investigative research to the public.

Stan Parker is a multimedia journalist who focuses on Eastern and Central Montana. He joined MontanaPBS in 2022, bringing with him a decade of experience in newsrooms and independent documentaries. He lives in Billings with his wife, Tori.

Anna Rau is an Investigative Journalist with nearly 30 years of experience in news and documentary production. Her investigative work has been honored with a National Cine Golden Eagle Award, a Telly Award, and an EB Craney award, and she was recently named a finalist for a National Investigative Reporters and Editors Award.

Matt Standal is a writer and photojournalist who has worked in film and television across Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming. He has worked as a professional backcountry ski guide in Yellowstone National Park and in Montana’s Tobacco Root Mountains. His photography heavily features America’s national parks, along with the snowy mountains of Japan.

Hannah Kearse’s interests in the outdoors and storytelling began in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. She followed her desires for higher ground and education to the University of Montana. Starting her career as a newspaper reporter in Madison County, Hannah continues to expand her love for Montana journalism in broadcast.

Before coming to Montana PBS, Sam Wilson worked in print media for a decade as a photojournalist, the last three at the Bozeman Daily Chronicle. He is a graduate of the University of Montana
Montana's first community-supported television station.
